Meet the founders

The commute stopped working. So we built another option.

We’re Katy and Roscoe, the co-founders of Howfen House. As parents of four and business owners ourselves, we know how challenging it can be to balance family life and work.

Delayed trains, traffic and the stress of commuting into the city simply were not working for us. We needed somewhere closer that was not the kitchen table or spare room, and we knew other local professionals must be feeling the same strain.

So we created a space where freelancers, remote workers and business owners can work productively, closer to home, and become part of a supportive local community.
